Bio: The buzz is beginning to rise up and surround this 3-man band thanks to their catchy riffs, jammin beats, quirky lyrics – and unique name. Sure, there’s a bit of “Hillbilly” behind what they do… but there’s a whole lot of “Shakespeare” too. Their 60′s influenced Garage Rock is infused with a tinge of Alternative Country and a hint of Blues. Their debut CD, No Great Shakes, showcases the band’s raw talent and eclectic writing. From the rockin “She’s So” to the quirky “Whale Song”, their sound is something that can only be described as unique to Hillbilly Shakespeare. They are currently working on their 2nd CD, titled “Well Hey By Golly Gee Whiz”
